Putting Metallica to good use
One of our neighbors had a problem with a rogue family of raccoons taking up residence in his attic. After numerous attempts to evict them he was growing frustrated because nothing was working. As a last ditch attempt to rid his house of the unwanted guests he placed a boom box in the attic and blasted Metallica at full volume and then left the house. Another neighbor said that about ten minutes after he left they witnessed the family of raccoons making a hasty retreat.
On a side, sort of unrelated note, I heard George Clooney is making a movie out of this book:
While the book didn’t try to answer any of the questions it brought up, it was an easy read and enjoyable. I ended up reading the whole book in a little less than 24 hours.
