Watching Alien and it’s like a study on bad decisions. Has an alien life form attached itself to the face of your shipmate? Bring him onboard the ship. Is the alien life form now loose in your science lab? By all means, let’s open the door and go in and look for it. What’s the worst that could happen? Movies like this will be what future space-going generations will study to learn what not to do.

I don’t think that plumbing is something to get excited about, like ever, but I saw this on the CBS Morning Show this morning and it’s pretty damn brilliant.
PermaFLOW™ self Cleaning Drain
This piece of pipe is designed to sit at the juncture where all the clogs happen and has a little “wiper” like aperture that you can spin to remove all the stuff that’s clogging up your pipe. The whole thing is transparent so you can see where the clog is, what is causing it, and watch the wiper in action. It’s also handy if you drop something down the sink. Whatever it is will be caught by the wiper and you can lift it up and fish it out (while you watch, because it’s transparent, remember?). Oh, and it’s environmentally friendly, reduces the need to use chemicals to clear your drains, and helps with water conservation.
I say again, Brilliant!
Coolest thing I’ve seen all week. Holographic Drumkit and Turntables test.
